Sellingerbeetse
Sellingerbeetse is a hamlet in the municipality of Westerwolde in the province of Groningen. It has a population of about 210 and is located west of Sellingen.
In the hamlet stands the little church "Opwaarts!", built in Amsterdam school style in 1925 on behalf of the Dutch Reformed Church. It currently serves as a cultural stage and is in use for exhibitions and meetings.
Near the hamlet is the Sellingerveld nature reserve In that area are three large sand lakes created over the years by sand mining, known locally as the Beetser koeln (Beetser pits).
