Postkantoor Oude Pekela
As government architect, Cornelis Hendrik Peters (1847-1932) designed dozens of post offices, including those in Amsterdam and on Groningen's Munnekeholm. He also designed this building on Feiko Clockstraat in Oude Pekela (1898).

On the first floor, a director's residence was set up with high rooms and ornate wooden beams. By now, the building is no longer used as a post office, but is privately owned. The town hall in Winschoten and the post office in Veendam were also designed by Peters.
