On the road with the new magazine
Those looking to get out and about can find plenty of inspiration in Midden-Groningens new Discover Culture magazine. It features all museums, churches, windmills, theatres and other cultural attractions in the region. Combined with no fewer than 7 new routes, the magazine offers more than enough inspiration for your next day out.
The magazine
Seven new cultural routes have been devised especially for the magazine, allowing you to discover Midden-Groningen while walking, cycling or sailing. For instance, the route 'On the road with Piccardt' takes you to all the places where this former lord of the manor lived, worked and is buried. The cycle route 'Along the most beautiful churches' crosses almost the entire region, from the beautiful white church in Westerbroek to the Koepelkerk in Sappemeer. The magazine and the routes are part of the Midden-Groningen op de kaart project, which Marketing Midden-Groningen is able to carry out thanks to a contribution from the National Programme Groningen.
