Leaf through the new Ontdek Cultuur magazine of Midden-Groningen for tips, ideas and inspiration for a lovely excursion or exploratory expedition. It lists all of the museums, churches, theatres and other cultural hot-spots in the region. Combined with no fewer than seven new routes, the magazine has plenty of options for a wonderful day.
The magazine
Seven new cultural routes are included in the magazine. Use them to explore Midden-Groningen on foot, by bicycle or from the water. The ‘Op pad met Piccardt’ route takes in all the places where this former castle resident worked, lived and was buried. The ‘Langs de mooiste kerken’ bicycle tour covers the greatest part of the region, from the charming little white church in Westerbroek to its Koepelkerk counterpart in Sappemeer. Both the magazine and the routes are part of the Midden-Groningen op de kaart – Midden-Groningen on the map – project Marketing Midden-Groningen has been able to carry out thanks to a contribution by the Nationaal Programma Groningen.
