This summer there are again a lot of special markets on the programme in Groningen. From vintage to exotic plants and from art to local products: you will find it all here.

Regional produce market Ewsum

Every 4th Saturday of the month (May to September), Middelstum - On the atmospheric castle grounds of Ewsum, you will stroll past some 25 to 30 stalls full of regional products, from cheese and bread to honey and homemade delicacies. The makers themselves are behind the stall and are happy to tell you more about their products. Each edition has its own theme, from a historical market to a summer one, making every visit feel different.

Sugar market @ EM2

24 May & 28 June, Groningen - The grounds of EM2 have a relaxed festival atmosphere during the Sugar Market. In the industrial setting, you will discover a mix of vintage, retro, pre-loved items and handmade products. Everywhere you will find stalls and stands with unique finds that you will not easily find anywhere else. Live music, food trucks and activities for children ensure a lively day for young and old. Just eat or drink something in between while the music plays and you will soon linger here longer than planned.

11 July, Sellingen - French atmospheres in Groningen? It all comes together in Sellingen during Montmartre Sellingen.
