Oosterstraat 57 - You might eat the tastiest brownies in Groningen at Brownies&downieS. They have perfected the sweet chocolate pastry here. Zaagmuldersweg 3 - In the middle of the Oosterpark district, you will find stadsrestaurant Het Oude Politiebureau in, how could it be otherwise, an old police building. This place can be considered the beating heart of the neighbourhood. Besides offering work experience places to people who are temporarily or permanently unable to participate in the regular labour market, they do much more here. For instance, they have a sustainable mission, but also dedicate themselves to the neighbourhood through their 'donate a dinner' action. To top it all off, the food here is simply delicious: surprising dishes with seasonal products. A special place with a great story and delicious food, definitely worth a visit.

De Appelhof 32, Harkstede - At the tea house of Cosis Ons Hertenkamp, the clients of the day care centre are happy to prepare a pot of tea or some lemonade for you.
