Paviljoen Overdiep is situated in a unique location in the centre of the medieval trading town of Appingedam (founded in 1327). The town is known for its hangende keukens, old warehouses, pretty little bridges and various waterways.

Come to Paviljoen Overdiep (Overdaips is the Groningen dialect for: ‘on the other side of the canal’). Here, you can enjoy lunch, dinner, a (networking) drinks reception or a bespoke package with family, friends or colleagues.
The Paviljoen can seat 70 people in the restaurant, 25 in the conservatory, and there’s also space for 100 people on the beautiful waterside terrace.
With a magnificent view of all these historic buildings, this is perhaps the most beautiful spot in Appingedam!

Canoeing
The beautiful historic town of Appingedam can also be admired from the water on a delightful canoe trip. In just under an hour, you can paddle a loop through the stunning Appingedam, passing, amongst other things, the famous ‘ hangende keukens ’.

- Sunday from 12:00.
- The kitchen is open until 9.00 pm.
