The Aduarderdiep enters the well-known Reitdiep here via the Aduar locks. The Reitdiep connects to many other waterways. From the campsite, you can make wonderful cycling, walking and boating trips and there are also many opportunities for fishing.
Aduarderzijl is located in the culturally historic Middag- and Humsterland region, where you can explore the Groningen marshes by canoe or motorboat. The cosy city centre of Groningen is only 15 km away.
The LF14 cycle route runs alongside the campsite. The campsite offers a good opportunity to start or continue the Pieterpad. There is also coffee/tea available and repair kit / charging point / sanitary facilities available according to the Rustpunt (Rust.nu) formula.
