Het Spijslokaal is located in the atmospheric old preschool with converted nostalgic gymnasium of the Hoogeland Open Air Museum in Warffum and features a lovely terrace with garden.
This national monument was built in 1903, together with the gymnasium housed in the same building. In the custodial school, young children, aged 4-6, were looked after to be introduced to education in a playful manner. The gymnasium, which now houses the multipurpose hall, was built at the initiative of the municipality.
At Het Spijslokaal, you can enjoy a delicious cup of coffee and cake, lunch, drinks and dinner on weekends. The het Spijslokaal regularly hosts wonderful exhibitions and you can also combine your visit to het Spijslokaal with a visit to the beautiful Openluchtmuseum het Hoogeland.
