The Reiderhaven marina is located in Beerta, near the Blauwestad and at about a kilometre from the Blauwe Sluis that connects to the Winschoterdiep canal. The harbour borders the Oltambtmeer and is surrounded by greenery. The landing stages have water and electricity. In addition to the many facilities on the grounds, the In den Stallen hotel, the Smederij 1872, the Stoomgemaal (steam pumping station) and a swimming place at the Beersterplas are all within a radius of half a kilometre. In short: the Reiderhaven is more than just a harbour.

This large, over 800-hectare lake was laid out as part of the Blauwestad residential and recreational project in the east of Groningen. The marina was opened in 2007 and has about 200 mooring places. This is the largest marina in the region and has plenty of facilities, including camper places, free showers, a free slipway and a shop selling water sports items. There is a boat hire and sailing lessons. Next to the harbour is a boat filling station, and the Midwolda beach is nearby. Go to the Paviljoen de Waternimf for a drink and bite to eat.

Jachthaven het Dok Nieuwolda is a small harbour with space for about ten boats. There are more mooring places on the edges of the Termunterzijldiep. The harbour is located by the through waterway of Scheemda, Midwolda (Blauwestad), Termunten and the connection to Delfzijl and beyond. The Eetcafé de Brug pub that also serves food is located by the harbour, with an extensive menu and various snacks to go. The lavatories and showers are also located by the pub. The village of Nieuwolda has a supermarket and bicycle hire.
