Boutique Hotel de Doelen is located in a historical building at the foot of the Martini tower: a classic hotel with modern facilities, comfort and personal attention. The building at the Grote Markt, which has been a hotel for over 200 years, has a wonderful view of Groningen’s bustling city centre. The rooms are very comfortably furnished with a bath or shower, toilet, desk and colour television. Guests may choose from a comfortable standard room, deluxe room or a fancy suite. All 93 rooms are furnished to guarantee a comfortable stay: each room has a bathroom, hair dryer, air conditioning, free high-speed WIFI, radio/LED television, Nespresso coffee machine and safe. For those looking for pure luxury, the Executive Room has a king-size bed and a bathroom with a jacuzzi. The hotel has a health club with a compact cardiofitness area, sauna, Turkish bath (on request) and solarium in order to start the day fresh. You can park in our hotel garage (€ 18,- per night, based on availability; please book in advance) or in one of the many public parking garages near our hotel. The Simplon Jongerenhotel is ideal for the experienced traveller: a good and inexpensive place to sleep. This hostel, located just outside the city centre, provides the opportunity to meet other guests from all over the world. There are luggage lockers and a laundry. Find your bed in one of the three dormitories or one of the rooms, and watch television, have a chat, or read in the special sitting area. Breakfast is included if you take a room, and is available for 4.- if you sleep in the dormitory. They also have a many, many tips concerning activities in the city, and public transport connections take you anywhere you want to go!
