The largest event location in the North and one of the five largest theatres in the whole of the Netherlands: Martiniplaza. With its convenient location close to the southern ring road, but also a 15-minute walk from the main train station, this venue offers numerous possibilities.
Theatre
As one of the country’s largest theatres, it stands to reason that the performances at Martiniplaza are staged on a grand scale. It is therefore also the ideal venue for major musical productions and dance shows. For example, you can see Mamma Mia! and Les Misérables there, but it also hosts the world’s largest production of Swan Lake. On-ice shows, such as Holiday on Ice, are annual fixtures at the theatre. But the theatre seats are often swapped for standing areas during major concerts and festivals.
