The most special building on the premises is however the Geschuttoren of Donjon. This dates from 1472 and is built “against the will of the town of Groningen”.

There is much to do at the castle. It is up to you if you want to participate in this or if you just want to watch from the privacy of your holiday home. The castle site always looks tidy and a walk is definitely recommendable. The home is situated in the front part of the farm. On the ground floor you find a living room with separate kitchen/dining room. On the first floor is a spacious double bedroom and bathroom.
Please consider the fact that an activity can be held on the premises and/or the adjacent tearoom. The home owner will inform you about this, if there are activities.
