A farm shop in a beautiful old Groningen barn. In the store we offer products from local entrepreneurs. You can also come to us for delicious cheese, organic meat, home accessories and garden tools.

After we, the Knook family, stopped our dairy farm, we found a new destination for our Groninger barn, namely a farm shop called the Proefschuur.
In the Proefschuur you can taste products in the broadest sense of the word, which are often made by local entrepreneurs.
This initiative was started because we saw that many local entrepreneurs in the area make and produce beautiful products, but have no space where these products can be sold.
The concept for and with entrepreneurs is also unique. The result is a wonderful total package, including, for example: organic meat (chicken, lamb, pork and beef), potatoes and onions,
cheese, ice cream…
