The attention is drawn to the vast apple, pear and cherry orchards. The finished products from these are sold in the adjacent country shop. This is full of other local produce: from green cabbage and Groninger cake to homemade jam. Combine all these local goodies in self-assembled packages.
Adjacent to the country shop is a tasting room. Relax here for a while. Drink a cup of coffee or home-pressed juice or wine. Of course, a slice of the aforementioned Groninger cake is not to be missed. If the weather is nice, take a seat on the terrace. With a delicious farmhouse ice cream overlooking the cherry orchard: who wouldn't want that?
