The basic ingredients are there in Meerstad: water, nature and living. In the central western part of Meerstad, between the Woldmeer and Hoofdweg towards Harkstede, you'll find the natural beach Strand Meeroevers. All facilities for a fun and active day are there. You can of course swim, sunbathe and climb the watchtower. But what about supboarding, kayaking, kiting, windsurfing, beach volleyball. And when you've done all that, it's great to relax with your towel on the beach.
