Knoalster Bevrijdingswandeling

On Tuesday 5 May, Walking in Westerwolde Foundation will organise the Knoalster Liberation Walk. This special walk brings walking, nature, history and conviviality together and dwells on the impressive stories of The Knoalster Secret Annexe / Monument21. You can choose from two beautiful routes of 5 or 10 kilometres. Put on your walking shoes and experience Liberation Day in nature.

A range of distances to suit everyone

Whether you opt for a short walk or prefer some extra kilometres: there is a route to suit you. The 5 kilometres is ideal for those who want to take it easy, while the 10 kilometres is perfect for walkers who like to go a bit longer. There is also plenty for young walkers to enjoy along the way. Along the way, live performances by Twij Kõrten Twij Langen and Josien Bakker ensure a festive atmosphere. It can be started between 17:00 and 18:00 from location Camperpark Noord (de Kapschuur) De Vloeivelden 3, Stadskanaal.
