Anyone who has enjoyed a meal at the NI HAO Stadsparkpaviljoen knows that this is by far the most beautiful oriental restaurant in the north of The Netherlands. It is the perfect location for any meeting where you can enjoy extensive lunch and dinner buffets in a magnificent and historic building. Located in a green area with a wonderful view of the large pond and free parking facilities, this is a perfect accommodation for meetings, seminars, (wedding) receptions and gatherings. The outdoor café is open when the weather is nice.

The very best burgers; pure and environmentally-responsible The Wereldburgers hamburger restaurant opened its doors in October 2013. Wereldburgers serves high-quality, responsible and affordable food in a relaxed environment. Enjoy delicious hamburgers, homemade chips and special salads, all made from pure and local ingredients. Wereldburgers is a sturdy restaurant with a nod to the industrial character of an old warehouse. Robust materials such as wood and steel combined with warm, Mediterranean elements result in the Wereldburgers ambiance. This is also a wonderful venue for a cup of coffee. The restaurant and outdoor café have a wonderful view of the Aa-kerk church entrance.

Bistro t Gerecht Paris in Groningen Bistro ’t Gerecht is an attractive Parisian-style restaurant with couches and tables against the walls. In summer, meals are served in the wonderful courtyard garden. The French kitchen serves classic bistro dishes and its specialty is a four-course menu that changes daily and is clarified at the table. This restaurant is located in one of the many historical buildings at the Oude Boteringestraat; the adjacent NH Hotel De Ville provides overnight accommodation. Our menu now costs € 36.50  

The Grand Café Groningen is located at the Gedempte Zuiderdiep 56 in a stunning 19thcentury building that was once owned by the Steenkolen Handels Vereeniging (coal trading association). Where possible, we use regional and sustainable products, ecological if possible and low in food miles, which is better for people and the environment, and for our beautiful province. We are open 7 days a week for a delicious cup of coffee with homemade cake, a lovely lunch, a high tea, a good glass of wine or a delicious meal. The News café is the most diverse and centrally located establishment in Groningen city centre. The Grand café, surrounded with outdoor cafés in summer, is the best meeting place in the city, and this is the address for a delicious espresso, latte or cappuccino. They have an extensive lunch menu and cocktails and other drinks to enjoy in the relaxed atmosphere in the evening. On the first floor is the restaurant with an international menu and our club is located in the former fallout shelter. We find it important that you know what you eat. That’s why we use ‘Beter Leven *’ chicken and eggs, local Porc d’or pork and beef fromout the provence. We also work with a quite some local suppliers, like our Bax beers, biodynamic vegetables from ‘Eemstuin’, specialty coffee from Koffiestation and sustainable bread from our local baker Luuk. 'Eeterie de Globe' has a singular location in Groningen behind the Der Aa-Kerk at the Akerkhof ZZ 22 – famous from the Dutch version of Monopoly! The Globe is located in the building of the Humanitas association. Three different and fresh meals are served daily, among which one vegetarian meal. A main meal is €8,00 or €9,00. The Globe also provides affordable options for parties and celebrations, both in the evening or afternoon.
