Appingedam - Marije (12 years old), when she moved to the Gouden Pand 1 in Appingedam, came up with the idea that they could start selling coffee, tea and apple pie. She also immediately came up with a fitting name: 't Gouden Appeltje. A super cute idea, which the whole family embraced. The ground floor of 'Het Gouden Pand' was furnished and transformed into a cosy coffee café by Margriet, Marije's mother.
