There are three access roads and whichever road you take: always you enter the village via an old road where many buildings still recall their former business use.
Originally, Lutjegast originated as an agricultural settlement and it still breathes that atmosphere: a region of peace and space with pristine nature and meadow bird areas.
The Klaver family lives in the front house of the farm. The back houses the care farm where day care is given to clients of Noorderbrug and Zonnehuis.
At the Boyemaheerd, you can enjoy a delicious cup of coffee or tea with something sweet. During the day during the week, you will meet the clients of the care farm, who will be happy to chat with you and show you their daily activities.
