The best places for a lovely spring walk

The weather is nice again! Time to go out and watch nature awaken. In Groningen, there are plenty of beautiful forests and nature reserves to discover that lend themselves to a lovely walk, even with the kids.

Blotevoetenpad Opende

For the real adventurers who don't mind taking off their shoes for a while, they have thought up something fun in Opende: the Blotevoetenpad. Along the way, you climb over tree trunks and crawl along a rope across the ditch. At various places along the route, there are obstacles to make the adventure just that little bit more exciting. The short one-and-a-half-kilometre route is also suitable for small children. Bikkels opt for the long version of over three kilometres. At the starting and finishing point is a cosy tea garden, which will be open again from 1 April for a drink or something tasty.
