Blauwestad

Marina Havenkwartier Blauwestad is a modern harbour with eighty-six mooring places and high-quality facilities. Various activities take place during the year, such as concerts, festivals and events. Eemshaven

The Borkum line of AG Ems-Nederland has been sailing between the Eenshaven and the wonderful German East Frisian Island of Borkum for over thirty years. From the boat, enjoy the magnificent view of the Eems and the quickly approaching island of Borkum, the scenic beauty and friendly town of which have delighted and charmed for decades. AG Ems-Nederland also has various day trips and packages for cyclists and hikers. In early 2008, a brand-new terminal will be put into use in the Eemshaven.

Groningen

Experience Groningen from its best side, sail with the HeerenSloep through the beautiful city of Groningen. A fun and relaxed way and you sit first grade. Both in terms of view and luxury. The HeerenSloep is an original lifeboat that is enriched with lounge cushions and a drinks & snacks bar. We serve besides a drink also snacks, lunch or dinner on board.

Kropswolde

An increasing number of water sports enthusiasts are discovering a little piece of the Groningen paradise: the Zuidlaardermeer lake. If you are a nature or sun lover, or a water sports enthusiast, be sure to come to the Zuidlaardermeer lake, which has something for everyone. The lake is a great operating base for a holiday of water sports holiday. Come by boat and stay for a few days of camping and sailing; the perfect holiday! The marina with slipway on the campsite has 250 mooring places. Transients can spend the night at the Drents Diep, where they can enjoy the campsite’s comfort and facilities. The transient space also has electricity (6 amperes).

Groningen

Welcome to the Reitdiep city marina in Groningen. The colourful Scandinavian buildings ensure a special and magnificent backdrop to the marina, and the harbour is on the standing mast route of Delfzijl, through Groningen city to Friesland and the Lauwersmeer area and Wadden Sea area. In addition to a transient harbour, it is also a very attractive home port for motor cruisers, yachts and sloops. The harbour has excellent bathroom facilities, a diesel filling station, Wi-FI and a bicycle and sloop hire. The supermarkets, lovely shops and restaurant ensure a lovely atmosphere, and the city centre, with its museums, theatres and cinemas is easily accessible.

Groningen

The Groningen city shipyard No Limit Yachts by the Finnish harbour has an extensive service package, which includes winter storage accommodation, summer and transient mooring places, diesel sale by the water and DIY accommodation hire. No Limit Yachts specialises in the new construction, maintenance, refitting and servicing yachts and ships. It has its own hoisting gear, yacht import and sale and purchase brokering. The city marina also has camper places.

Warffum

We propose to you: our 5 unique and different hiking huts and the vintage Beach Cottage with a total of 36 beds. They are all on the same field and are thereby additional suitable for a group stay. The 4 person cabin with bunk beds, the round "kampeervat" for 2 persons, the log cabin for up to 8 guests (bunk beds and twin), the nostalgic block steering with two double box beds and the big cabin with 14 beds (bunk beds). The 4 person Beach Cottage has a private shower and toilet. All cabins and the Beach Cottage are spacious with inventory.

The Diep dinner café is located at the magnificent Groningen Schuitendiep where ships used to unload peat. The historic building, where monks used to live, is a tranquil and stylish location for a delicious dinner, and the kitchen serves seasonal delicacies from all over the world, prepared with regional products. Diep dinner café serves drinks and food on shore as well as on their sloop. Options include a cruise of the ring of canals or through the province.

Kropswolde

Allround Watersport is a complete marina that has every facility required. Located by the scenic Zuidlaardermeer lake, the magnificent Veenroute (peat route) and the water connection with Germany.

Haren

Welcome home at the Zuidwesthoek marina. Located by the Paterswoldsemeer lake and near the city of Groningen, this is much more than a marina.

Come fishing, ride a sleigh, fillet fish, watch plankton and more.

Midwolda

The Midwolda marina is located on the northern outskirts of the Oldambtmeer. This large, over 800-hectare lake was laid out as part of the Blauwestad residential and recreational project in the east of Groningen. The marina was opened in 2007 and has about 200 mooring places. This is the largest marina in the region and has plenty of facilities, including camper places, free showers, a free slipway and a shop selling water sports items. There is a boat hire and sailing lessons. Next to the harbour is a boat filling station, and the Midwolda beach is nearby. Go to the Paviljoen de Waternimf for a drink and bite to eat.

Bedum

We hold tours through the city of Groningen and its environs. Options include artificial dwelling hill tours, historic farm tours, city tours and moonlight tours. Information about the neighbourhood and places of interest along the way is provided. These tours are possible with a horse and carriage, coach and horse tram, and are suited for family celebrations, student and children’s parties, anniversaries, etc. Also suitable for large groups (up to 80 people). We can provide food and drinks and/or overnight accommodation. Departures from the Vindicat building (nearby the Tourist Information Office); other starting locations in consultation.

Almost anything is possible in the area of outdoor activities, which naturally conclude in one of the “after outdoor” establishments.

Midlaren

This sailing school provides their guests with the opportunity to learn about water sports or enjoy the Zuidlaardermeer Lake. Options include; • Sailing boat, pedal boat, motorboat and sailboard hire; • Private sailing and windsurfing lessons for a daily period or couple of hours per week; • Weekly lessons for children from 6-16, both resident and nonresident; • Group activities such as hunts, sailing clinics, etc. We use the latest materials and have a deluxe location and accommodation directly at the Zuidlaardermeer Lake. Our professional lessons are under the skilful leadership of CWO-certified instructors.

Beerta

The Reiderhaven marina is located in Beerta, near the Blauwestad and at about a kilometre from the Blauwe Sluis that connects to the Winschoterdiep canal. The harbour borders the Oltambtmeer and is surrounded by greenery. The landing stages have water and electricity. In addition to the many facilities on the grounds, the In den Stallen hotel, the Smederij 1872, the Stoomgemaal (steam pumping station) and a swimming place at the Beersterplas are all within a radius of half a kilometre. In short: the Reiderhaven is more than just a harbour.  

Briltil

The Briltil marina and campsite is located in the Groningen Westerkwartier, about one kilometre from the village of Zuidhorn, where you will find various shops. A bus or train will take you to the city of Groningen within fifteen minutes. The marina provides lovely and tranquil overnight accommodation on the Lemmer-Delfzijl waterways, just one kilometre from the Van Starkenborghkanaal near Zuidhorn. The Gabrug, which you can operate yourself, provides access to the Hoendiep (about 1.90 m draught), from which you can sail to the marina. The campsite has spacious pitches with electricity and a wonderful view of the harbour.

Appingedam

The Appingedam marina is located in Appingedam centre, at the heart of the Overdiep plan. From here, take a lovely sailing trip to Groningen, Delfzijl, the Schildmeer lake or the Wadden Sea and beyond. The harbour has over fifty mooring places and the jetties are provided with electricity and drinking water points. The harbour master’s office has various facilities, such as showers, lavatories and washing machines, in addition to a discharge point for waste water and refuse containers.

Lauwersoog

Tranquillity, water, countryside, sea, footpaths, bicycle tracks and camping, in short: this is the perfect place for a holiday with the entire family, solo or just the two of you. The Lauwersoog campsite is located by the Lauwersmeer lake in the Lauwersmeer National Park and has every feature required for a lovely holiday. The campsite is open throughout the year and has a recreation team and extensive facilities, such as the magnificent ‘Het Booze wijf’ restaurant with a view of the Lauwersmeer and the museum harbour, free hot water/shower, solar energy-heated sanitary facilities, caravan hire, hiker’s cabins and Swiss cottages, a bus stop by the entrance, a camp shop and a launderette. Camper vans and dogs are welcome. The park also has an indoor and outdoor playground.

Groningen
