Borgercompagnie - At the museum, Groningen artist Lammert Boerma displays his extraordinary masterpieces. Boerma uses a painting technique from the 17th century with an underlay of tempera over which he layers oil paint. His often large paintings are a mixture of realist-surrealist and symbolic tendencies. Besides paintings, the museum also houses sculptures, photographs, drawings and a collection of vintage mopeds from the 1950s and 1960s, all displayed in the 13 rooms, each with its own colour and style.
