’t Speulparadies Beerta
Beerta – 't Speulparadies is a large fenced-off playground where children can let off steam to their heart’s content. For example, you can play on the cable car, on the bouncy castle or go on an adventure along the adventure trail. A bonus for parents too: whilst the children are playing, you can enjoy a cup of coffee on the terrace. As well as a large playground, there’s also a petting zoo with goats, rabbits, chickens and even alpacas. There’s plenty to do at 't Speulparadies.

Oldambtmeer – The Oldambtmeer is ideal for an afternoon’s fishing. A fun and educational activity for children. The lake has healthy sediment and good water quality. Fish arrived in the area more or less spontaneously. Cast your line and discover all the special fish that live in the lake.

Heiligerlee Experience Route
Heiligerlee – Set off on a historical walking route through De Hoogte, on the Groningen moraines. This is where the Battle of Heiligerlee took place in 1568. Along this themed route, walkers can explore the landscape, meet the key figures of the battle and discover traces of the past. The walk also features special points of interest. Thanks to its interactive elements, the walk is highly recommended for children.

Surfing, sailing and stand-up paddleboarding on Oldambtmeer
Blauwestad – Unlike other lakes, the Oldambtmeer was specifically created for water sports. There is a lot of sailing on the Oldambtmeer. It’s also a great spot for water skiing, windsurfing and kitesurfing. Canoeing and stand-up paddleboarding enthusiasts can also enjoy themselves here to their heart’s content. You can hire canoes at the marina in Midwolda and Reiderhaven in Beerta.

Oostwold – Pitch and Putt is a fun and sociable activity for everyone aged 8 and over. Mini-golf for young and old. From the terrace, you have a lovely view of the course, with Oldambtmeer in the background. The residential part of the farmhouse, a listed building, houses a café-restaurant.
