Discover the Oldambtmeer

The Oldambtmeer is part of the residential and recreational project Blauwestad and is located in the former peat area between Midwolda, Oostwold and Winschoten. On 12 May 2005, Queen Beatrix symbolically opened the crane that created the lake. Since then, it has grown into a beautiful landscape full of water, nature and recreation, where you can enjoy peace, space and a rich variety of flora and fauna.
