Westerwolde is a beautiful area for walking. The ‘Walking in Westerwolde’ Foundation (WiW) has mapped out 40 wonderful walking routes for you in Westerwolde. The routes vary in length from 1.5 to 14 kilometres. A number of these routes can also be combined to form a longer route. They take you past the most special spots and introduce you to the region’s surprising nature and landscapes.
