The singer grew up in Peckham, London. Due to circumstances, he spent the first years of his childhood in foster care and felt like an outsider for a long time. Bob Dylan's music allowed him to escape reality for a moment. This inspired him to pick up the guitar himself and make music. Later, he also drew inspiration from artists such as Kendrick Lamar and Kanye West, artists who, in his opinion, are not afraid to experiment.

This shaped his rawer sound, in which influences from English folk, hip hop, ambient and dance come together. The common thread running through his music is that he really wants to tell a story, a story he loves to tell when he performs in our Bovenzaal.
