Over de maker Gustav Marcus Lauesen (1996, he/they) is a Danish theatremaker and mimer, educated at the Mime School at the University of the Arts in Amsterdam, where he is also based. Gustav's artistic practice is a fusion of his background in dance theater, comedy, and performance art, with the common thread being a humble desire to bring people closer together. He often works intuitively, starting from simple images or fantasies that he tries to embody—usually focusing on subjects and themes that have, in one way or another, touched or affected him personally.
