Keramiekworkshop

🏺 The workshops do not follow a specific theme.

You are free to choose what you would like to create, and I will guide you throughout the making process. The number of participants is intentionally limited to a maximum of 6 people, allowing me to provide individual guidance and dedicate quality time to each participant.

Handbuilding techniques, slab building, and coil building will be explored and encouraged. I also have a potter’s wheel available, so it is possible to learn wheel throwing. Please note: If all participants would like to try the wheel, the available time will be shared so that everyone can have the opportunity to experience it.

The decoration stage cannot be completed during the same workshop. Once your piece has been prepared and fired for the first time, you can book a separate decoration/glazing workshop. I will guide you through this creative process using glazes and/or sgraffito, which is often more complex than it may seem. If you prefer to take part in only one pottery workshop, I can also glaze your piece for you after the first firing (paid glazing service). This allows you to focus entirely on creating the shape of your piece during the workshop, without attending a second session.

The workshops will take place from October until the end of March.

Please note that this workshop is not suitable for children.
